Apprenticeships are often the first route an individual might take to gain relevant and nationally recognised qualifications. It is good for career progression and your CV. Apprenticeships are open to everyone, subject to eligibility and funding availability. Apprenticeship schemes run, on average, for 6-12 months at the end of which candidates will have achieved an NVQ Level 2 plus Keys Skills, a technical certificate and Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR).
Advanced Apprenticeship schemes are available for those preparing to move into a supervisory role and result in an NVQ Level 3 qualification with appropriate Key Skills.
