Job Description

We are retained by one of the UK’s leading distributor of LAMINATES, PANEL PRODUCTS AND SOLID SURFACING who due to continued success in the UK market place are seeking to recruit a professional BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE to cover the LONDON/ESSEX areas.

Reporting to: Regional Manager

You will be represent and promote the company and generate sales enquires and orders from both new and existing accounts, to achieve budgeted sales within territory, you will ideally have experience in the Commercial Sector which would include Shop fitting  & Interior Refurbishment Companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify key accounts and build strong relationships
  • Plan territory visits to ensure that customers are contacted at the required frequency
  • Be proactive and assertive in seeking new business and re-activating dormant accounts
  • Negotiate sales deals that will achieve budgeted margins
  • Gather competitor and customer information and report to the regional Manager.
  • Use the companies IT system, to help manage, develop and achieve sales budgets whilst updating relevant market and customer information.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Industry experience is essential
  • Problem solving ability relating to customer service
  • Self motivated
  • Able to engage at any level (MD to Site / Floor level )
  • Effective communication skills & strong negation skill
  • Customer focused with sound commercial skills.
  • Good IT skills & PC literate.
  • Full UK Driving licence

Location/Area – Essex/London

Salary –  Negotiable basic dependent upon experience + excellent results driven rewards
