Process Services Engineer

ROCKWOOL UK are recruiting for a Process Engineer to join the Operations department – the position could suit either a graduate looking to develop or a more experienced Engineer.

Joining our busy operations team, you will focus on providing a problem solving and process improvement service to our production facility. The candidate should identify and deliver process improvements to achieve Operational Excellence, enhance plant-operating efficiency / throughput and reduce costs.

This is the role:

Must have a strong analytical approach to work and can interpret and understand key process data including both plant efficiency and KPIs and variable production cost.
Combine engineering practices with lean manufacturing techniques as we strive for continuous improvement. Including establishing best practice and ensuring this is documented and transferred across shifts.
Candidate to be involved with other departments such as Finance and Product Management as we assist in the development and introduction of new products to the market and monitor production costs.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Must have an innovative approach to work and be self-driven and motivated to follow ideas through to practical realisation.
